Abstract:
According to the present invention, when a transport block size (TBS) for a downlink shared channel is determined on the basis of an adaptively controlled modulation system, a user terminal can appropriately receive and/or decode the downlink shared channel. This user terminal is provided with: a reception unit that receives a downlink shared channel; and a control unit that, on the basis of transport block size (TBS) index values that correspond to modulation and coding scheme (MCS) index values that are used by the downlink shared channel and of a resource block (RB) number that is allocated to the downlink shared channel, acquires a TBS to be used by the downlink shared channel. The user terminal is characterized in that, when the downlink shared channel is transmitted using a specific transmission system and an MCS index value is a specific value, the TBS index value that corresponds to the specific value is altered, and the control unit acquires the TBS on the basis of the altered TBS index value and of the RB number.
