The purpose of the present invention is to acquire propagation path information in a shorter time than in an existing LTE system. A user terminal according to one embodiment of the present invention wirelessly communicates with a base station, and is characterized by the following: having a transmission/reception unit that transmits and receives signals, and a control unit that controls transmission and reception such that at least either the base station or the user terminal acquires propagation path information; and the transmission/reception unit transmitting an uplink reference signal and receiving a downlink reference signal within a prescribed period, and at least either receiving a downlink feedback signal on the basis of the uplink reference signal or transmitting an uplink feedback signal on the basis of the downlink reference signal.
