Abstract:
This valve control device controls an actuator for operating a valve on the basis of an opening degree signal indicating the opening degree of the valve and a startup signal instructing startup of an engine to which the valve is provided. The valve control device is provided with: a fully-closed-learning processing unit for learning, on the basis of the startup signal and the opening degree signal, a seating position at which the valve body of the valve sits on the valve seat of the valve every time the engine starts up; a target value setting unit for setting, on the basis of the seating position, a soft-landing starting position for when the valve body is seated, and setting a control target value which causes the valve body to decelerate from the soft-landing starting position and causes the valve body to be seated at a prescribed seating speed; and a control drive unit for creating, on the basis of the control target value and the opening degree signal, a drive signal supplied to the actuator.
