Abstract:
Disclosed is a valve device that has a simple structure, is compatible with large-diameter holes, and is capable of supplying fire-extinguishing water and cooling water by opening in instances of abnormally high temperatures. The present invention is composed of: a tubular main body (1) installed at the end of a supply pipe connected to a water source; a stopper (2) that obstructs the passage in the main body (1); a supporting body (3) that supports the stopper (2) installed in the main body (1) by pressing the stopper (2) towards the supply pipe; a locking means (4) that locks the supporting body (3) under normal conditions and releases the supporting body (3) in instances of abnormally high temperatures; and a heat-sensitive unit (5) that releases the locking means (4) when the surrounding area reaches an abnormally high temperature.
