Abstract:
A valve device (10) is provided with a fixed disc (14), a drive unit (16), and a shaft (18) that is rotated by a rotational force output by the drive unit. This valve device is provided with a rotor (20) for increasing/decreasing the opening degree of a flow path hole formed in the fixed disc in accordance with the rotation of the shaft and a biasing member (26) that biases the rotor toward the fixed disc. The housing includes a placement portion (122a) that abuts against a back surface of a contact surface in the fixed disc, the contact surface facing the rotor. In one of the fixed disc and the placement portion, an accommodation groove (122b, 145) in which a gasket (15) for sealing a gap between the fixed disc and the placement portion is accommodated is formed. The gasket has sealing surfaces (156, 157) opposed to the fixed disc and the placement portion, respectively, and side-surface protruding portions (158a, 158b) opposed to groove side surfaces of the accommodation groove and protruding toward the groove side surfaces, and is press-fitted into the accommodation groove with the side-surface protruding portions in contact with the groove side surfaces.
