Abstract:

When a hydraulic oil is used by a valve drive device and a fuel injection device, the valve drive device can accurately control the valve opening/closing timing and the amount of the valve lift. The valve drive device comprises a pressure control chamber (18) which is connected to a high-pressure chamber (2) for introducing a fuel into the fuel injection device and into which the fuel is introduced from the high-pressure chamber (2), a first operating valve (20) installed between the pressure control chamber (18) and the high-pressure chamber (2), opened when a valve (11) is opened, and used to introduce the fuel from the high-pressure chamber (2) into the pressure control chamber (18), a second operating valve (30) installed in a discharge passage (19), opened when the valve (11) is closed, and used to discharge the fuel from the pressure control chamber (18), a pressure detection means (10) for detecting the pressure of the fuel in the high-pressure chamber (2), and a control means (8) for detecting the pressure of the fuel in the high-pressure chamber (2) by the pressure detection means (10), acquiring the amount of valve lift corresponding to the operating condition of the internal combustion engine, determining the flow of the fuel introduced from the high-pressure chamber (2) into the pressure control chamber (18) according to the pressure of the fuel and the amount of valve lift, and controlling opening/closing of the first operating valve (20).
