Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a variable capacity compressor which enables a second control valve to be examined before the second control valve is integrated into the compressor, and which enables the second control valve to be disposed with ease. [Solution] This variable capacity compressor (100) is provided with a second control valve (350) for adjusting the opening amount of a pressure release passage (146). In the second control valve (350), a partition member (351) which demarcates a valve chamber (351c) and a back pressure chamber (351d) is provided with: a side wall (351a) provided so as to surround a valve part (352b) of a spool (352); and an end wall (351b) which is connected to one end side of the side wall (351a), and which has, passing therethrough, a shaft part (352b) of the spool (352). Furthermore, the variable capacity compressor (100) is configured such that, in the second control valve (350), the end surface (351a1) of the side wall of the partition member (351), said end surface being at the side opposite to the end wall, is in contact with the wall surface of the valve chamber (351c) at the side opposite to the back pressure chamber, and, when the valve part (352b) of the spool (352) is in contact with the wall surface, a pressure-receiving part (352a) of the spool (352) is in contact with the end wall (351b) of the partition member.
