Abstract:
Provided is a variable dimension palette that is able to minimise the dead space that cannot carry a load, even when the size of the carrying surface changes. The variable dimension palette (P) is provided with a deck board unit (1) that has a rectangular carrying surface (R) formed of multiple deck boards (10) arranged in parallel and a base unit (5) that mounted on a floor and is equipped with the deck board unit (1). The deck board unit (1): supports the underside of the deck boards (10); has a pantograph mechanism (20) that extends in direction Y; and, in a state where the orientation of each deck board (10) is made uniform, moves the deck boards in direction Y by extending the pantograph mechanism (20), varies the space between neighbouring deck boards (10) and is able to change the size of the carrying surface (R).
