Abstract:
A variable power optical system (ZL) comprising, in order from the object side, a first lens group (G1) having a positive refractive power, a second lens group (G2) having a negative refractive power, a third lens group (G3) having a positive refractive power, a fourth lens group (G4) having a positive refractive power, and a rear lens group (GR), wherein the intervals between adjacent lens groups are changed when changing the power, and the rear lens group (GR) has a plurality of focal lens groups that have a positive refractive power and move when focusing.
