Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a vehicle air conditioner which can prevent battery deterioration both in situations in which the battery temperature during pre-air-conditioning in the vehicle cabin is low and is high.
[Solution] This vehicle air conditioner is provided with an air conditioning controller which has a pre-air-conditioning function for starting air conditioning in the vehicle cabin at a prescribed pre-air-conditioning start planned time t1 defined in advance, wherein, if the temperature of the battery 55 is lower than a prescribed permissible lower limit temperature TL, the air-conditioning controller heats the battery 55 before the pre-air-conditioning start planned time t1, and if the temperature of the battery 55 has risen to greater than or equal to the permissible lower limit temperature TL, performs pre-air-conditioning battery temperature adjustment control for starting air-conditioning in the vehicle cabin.
