This invention provides a vehicle anti-theft system. It includes: an anti-theft control means that is located interior to the vehicle to respond the detected abnormal behavior by an un-authorized person and to produce corresponding counter-measures; an alarm device that comprises an alarm information collecting and sending terminal located within the vehicle, and an alarm information receiving terminal carried with the vehicle user. The said alarm information collecting and sending terminal is connected with the anti-theft control means and has an image taking device with it. The said alarm information receiving terminal has an image display device with it. When the said abnormal behavior is occurring, the video of the behavior will be recorded and sent to the alarm information receiving terminal carried with the vehicle user so as to alert the user.
