Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a vehicle approach notification device with a compact structure, which is capable of emitting a vehicle approach notification sound in a high frequency band. [Solution] The present invention is provided with: a single piezoelectric element sounding body (3) having a first resonance frequency (f1) and a second resonance frequency (f2) on a low frequency side and a high frequency side, respectively; and a gain adjustment circuit (11), an amplifier circuit 13 and a step-up drive circuit (14) that receive a vehicle approach notification signal (11a) in a frequency band including the first resonance frequency (f1) and the second resonance frequency (f2) and that output the vehicle approach notification signal (11a) to the piezoelectric element sounding body (3).
