Abstract:
Provided is a controller that estimates the state of a vehicle from a wheel speed sensor provided in a vehicle, and outputs a control signal to a damper provided between a wheel and the vehicle body according to the estimated state of the vehicle. The controller uses information from an onboard device sensor other than a dedicated sensor for the damper as an observed value for estimating the state of the vehicle. Namely, the controller uses sensor information from a navigation device acting as the onboard device other than the damper, and more specifically gyro information from a gyro sensor provided in the navigation device, as the observed value for estimating the state of the vehicle.
