Abstract:
In a hybrid vehicle for which a clutch (C1) is provided in the power transmission path between a motor generator (MG) and the drive wheels (T), when the vehicle rolls back on a hill as it is starting forward, the amount of charging of the battery (3) by the electricity generated by the motor generator (MG) in conjunction with the backward movement and the current charging capacity of the battery (3) are compared, and when the amount of charging of the battery (3) is greater, the amount of slippage of the clutch (C1) is controlled in accordance with that excess amount, and the amount of electricity generated is reduced by reducing the rotational frequency of the motor generator (MG), enabling the increase in the torque of the motor generator (MG) to remain within the charging capacity of the battery (3), and thereby improving the performance when starting forward.
