Abstract:
A vehicle control method and a vehicle, which solve the technical problem in relevant technology where heat dissipation is performed by means of disengaging a friction plate when said friction plate overheats, causing a vehicle to lose a four-wheel drive function. The method comprises: when a friction plate in a transfer assembly (200) of a vehicle is in an engaged state, determining whether the temperature of the friction plate is greater than a preset temperature threshold (S101); and when the temperature is greater than the preset temperature threshold, controlling a mechanical locking mechanism (203) in the transfer assembly (200) to enter into a locked state, and controlling a transfer transmission mechanism (202) in the transfer assembly (200) to disengage the friction plate (S102), where when in the locked state, the mechanical locking mechanism (203) locks a wheel drive mechanism of the vehicle and the transfer transmission mechanism (202), causing the vehicle to be in a four-wheel drive state.
