Abstract:

A modal test support apparatus and a method for using same, the apparatus comprising: a suspension structure (1) used for suspending a test piece (2); and a support structure arranged below the suspension structure (1) for supporting the test piece (2). The suspension structure (1) matches the support structure, so that the stiffness of the modal test support apparatus is zero. The support structure comprises an anti-stiffness diamond frame (4), a retractable sleeve, a horizontal elastic member (49) and a base (6). The retractable sleeve is separately connected to the anti-stiffness diamond frame (4) and the base (6), and the horizontal elastic member (49) is connected to a diagonal line of the anti-stiffness diamond frame (4). The suspension structure (1) comprises a suspension beam (3), a first elastic member and a second elastic member. The first elastic member and the second elastic member are connected in parallel to the suspension beam (3) for use in suspending the test piece (2), and elastic stiffness coefficients of the first elastic member and the second elastic member are both half of the elastic stiffness coefficient of the horizontal elastic member (49).
