Abstract:
An instrument panel display system (1) includes a liquid crystal panel (7) and
a liquid crystal controller (11) for generating display data to be inputted into
the liquid crystal panel (7). The liquid crystal controller (11) includes:
a graphic LSI (80) for autonomously creating screen data by using plot data read
out from a memory (90) and inputted image data; and control LSI (66) for receiving
vehicle data and creating a plot switching command according to the vehicle data.
The graphic LSI (80) outputs screen data created in response to the plot switching
command as the display data. This configuration can reduce the load on a processor
(control LSI (66)) connected to the vehicle network.
