Abstract:
This vehicle door opening/closing device is provided with a rear lock, an output lever linked to the rear lock, a mechanical second clutch, and an interlocking mechanism. The rear lock holds a sliding door in a completely closed state or an incomplete closure state. By means of rotating in one direction, the output lever moves the rear lock in a manner so that the sliding door transitions from the incomplete closure state to the completely closed state and by means of rotating in the other direction, moves the rear lock in a manner so that the sliding door transitions from the completely closed state to the incomplete closure state. The second clutch connects and disconnects the transmission of rotation between a motor and the output lever. The interlocking mechanism switches the second clutch into the connected state in lockstep with the state of the sliding door being positioned in the range from the completely closed state to the incomplete closure state, and switches the second clutch to the disconnected state in lockstep with the state of the sliding door being positioned in the range from the incomplete closure state to being open.
