A vehicle head-up display system, comprising an image generating device (11, 20, 21), a light control device (12, 22, 23) and a display control device, wherein the image generating device (11, 20, 21) is configured to generate image light; the light control device (12, 22, 23) comprises a part configured to perform first reflection on the image light, and is configured to enable the image light that has undergone the first reflection to enter at least two eye box regions (13, 24, 25) comprised in the head-up display system; and the display control device is connected to the image generating device (12, 22, 23), and according to the priority of information to be displayed and/or the state of the vehicle, is configured to control the projection of the image light to each eye box region (13, 24, 25) by means of controlling at least one among the image generating device (11, 20, 21) and the light control device (12, 22, 23). The vehicle head-up display system is able to display different image screens to different eye box regions (13, 24, 25) in the vehicle, and is able to display corresponding image screens to different eye box regions (13, 24, 25) respectively according to the state of the vehicle.
