Abstract:
A vehicle headlight (1) comprises a light emission unit (10), a determination unit (25), and a control unit (CO). In a case where a signal indicating another vehicle (80, 90) is inputted, the control unit (CO) controls the light emission unit (10) such that a region including a first region (211, 311) from among a light distribution pattern (200, 300) is a dimmed region (210, 310) in which the total luminous flux of the light from the light emission unit (10) is reduced compared to the state before the signal indicating the other vehicle (80, 90) is inputted. In a case where a signal indicating a turn notice of the other vehicle (80, 90) is inputted, the control unit (CO) controls the light emission unit (10) such that at least the first region (211, 311) of the dimmed region (210, 310) is widened toward the turning direction indicated by the turn notice compared to the state before the signal indicating the turn notice of the other vehicle (80, 90) is inputted.
