Abstract:
A vehicle headlight (1) is provided with a light-emitting unit (10), a determination unit (25), and a control unit (CO). When a signal indicating another vehicle is inputted, the control unit (CO) controls the light-emitting unit (10) so that an area including a first area (211, 311) in a light distribution pattern is a reduced-light area (210, 310). When a signal indicating a turning action of another vehicle is also inputted in addition to the signal indicating the other vehicle, the control unit (CO) controls the light-emitting unit (10) so that at least the first area (211, 311) in the reduced-light area (210, 310) is wider on the turning-direction side of the other vehicle (80, 890) than after the signal indicating the other vehicle (80, 90) has been inputted and before the signal indicating the turning action of the other vehicle (80, 90) is inputted. The reduced-light area (210, 310) includes a second area (212, 312) connected to the lower edge of the first area (211, 311).
