Abstract:
A vehicle hood according to the present invention comprises an outer panel, an inner panel, and a reinforcing member. The inner panel includes: an annular outer peripheral joining part; an inside joining part arranged to the inside of the outer peripheral joining part and joined to the outer panel; and an intermediate surrounding part interposed between the outer peripheral joining part and the inside joining part and surrounding the inside joining part. The intermediate surrounding part has a bottom section separated further from the outer panel than the outer peripheral joining part and the inside joining part in the hood thickness direction. The bottom section includes a hinge fixing part, and also includes an uneven section having a projection protruding toward the outer panel in the hood thickness direction and a recess continuous with the projection in a width direction orthogonal to a front-back direction of the vehicle hood. The uneven section has an overlapping section that overlaps with the reinforcing member in the hood thickness direction, and an extension section extending forward of the reinforcing member from a front end of the overlapping section.
