Abstract:
A vehicle inspection system, comprising a scanning device (10) and a vehicle conveyer (20) passing through a scanning area of the scanning device (10). The vehicle conveyer (20) is used for driving an inspected vehicle (90) to pass through the scanning area, and comprises an initial drive segment (21) located upstream of the scanning area along the motion direction of the inspected vehicle (90) and a self-propulsion segment (22) arranged downstream of the initial drive segment (21); the initial drive segment (21) is used for driving the inspected vehicle (90) to move towards the scanning device (10) and for enabling the inspected vehicle (90) to have an initial speed when the driving is stopped; and the self-propulsion segment (22) is used for driving the inspected vehicle (90) which has stopped to move by self-propulsion on the self-propulsion segment (22) so as to completely pass through the scanning area. The vehicle inspection system has a simple structure and a reduced cost.
