Abstract:

The embodiments of the present application provide a vehicle lighting control method and apparatus. A road side communication device sends a first message to a vehicle, the first message being used to prompt the vehicle to illuminate a first target, and the first target being near a traveling path through which the vehicle is to pass; and the vehicle pre-adjusts, according to said first message, the vehicle to be in a first lighting mode so as to illuminate said first target before passing through said first target. In the present invention, a vehicle can pre-illuminate a specific target, thereby no longer relying on manual triggering by a driver, without having to automatically illuminate the specific target when passing through the specific target, solving the problem existing in the prior art of delay in illumination. In addition to being applicable to a lighting scene of a visual blind area in a curve, the embodiments of the present application are also applicable to a lighting scene of a road side blind area, improving user experience and driving safety.
