Abstract:

It is possible to provide a power control device capable of reducing a change of braking feeling caused by reduction of a regenerative braking power. A capacitor is charged with energy generated by regenerative braking. The charge power P(C) is calculated and it is judged whether the P(C) has reached a maximum value WMAX of a predetermined control limit value WIN(C). If the P(C) is judged to have reached the WMAX, control is performed to reduce the WIN(C) from that moment.
