Provided is a vehicle skin material having enhanced water-proof performance compared to conventional materials.　A vehicle skin material (20) comprises: a first skin material (30); a second skin material (40) connected to the first skin material; and a sheet-like water-proof member (60) that extends along a skin-connecting portion (22) connecting the first skin material and the second skin material, and that covers the skin-connecting portion from the back surface side thereof. The water-proof member (60) includes a first impregnating portion (64) that impregnates a back surface material (30a) of the first skin material (30), and a second impregnating portion (65) that impregnates a back surface material (40a) of the second skin material (40). The water-proof member (60) is attached to the first skin material by means of the first impregnating portion (64), and is attached to the second skin material by means of the second impregnating portion (65). The first impregnating portion (64) and the second impregnating portion (65) are positioned to sandwich the skin-connecting portion (22).
