Abstract:
A vehicle sunshade device that comprises: a light-modulating glass plate that can be made to change light transmittance and is provided to a portion of vehicle window glass so as to separate the inside of a cabin from the outside of the cabin or to a portion of a surface of the vehicle window glass that faces the inside of the cabin; a display device that is formed from a translucent material and is arranged, such that a display part is directed toward the inside of the cabin, on a surface of the light-modulating glass plate that faces the inside of the cabin; an imaging device that generates imaging data by capturing images of the area outside the vehicle on the reverse side of the surface of the light-modulating glass plate to which the display device is provided; a data processing circuit that, on the basis of the imaging data generated by the imaging device, generates display image data that is to be displayed on the display part; and a switch that switches the light transmittance of the light-modulating glass plate.
