Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle wheel drive device having high NVH performance whereby vibration of an outer pin housing (50) of a cycloidal speed reducer (20) can be prevented from being transmitted to a vehicle body. The vehicle wheel drive device is provided with an outer pin (25) for meshing with a waveform tooth profile of a curved board (24) and causing the curved board (24) to revolve and rotate along with the rotation of an eccentric shaft part (23), and an output shaft (26) for harnessing the rotation of the curved board (24), a cycloidal speed reducer supporting both ends of the outer pin (25) being employed in the outer pin housing (50) held in a floating state in a casing (11b) of the speed reducer (20), wherein an outer pin side plate (60a) is provided to a side surface of a ring part (50b) of the outer pin housing (50), and the outer pin side plate (60a) is integrally provided to an elastic metal board (60) for elastically supporting the outer pin housing (50) in an axial direction relative to an inner wall of the casing (11b) of the speed reducer (20), whereby the vibration of the outer pin housing (50) is not readily transmitted to the vehicle body even if no rubber members are used to suppress vibration.
