Abstract:
Provided are a vehicular component and a vehicular aluminum alloy for which toughness appropriate for a vehicle component can be secured even when using an aluminum material containing impurities such as Fe and Cu. The vehicular aluminum alloy contains 0.2-1.0 wt.% of Fe and 0.01-0.7 wt.% of Mn, as well as Si and Cu, the balance being Al and unavoidable impurities, and the intermetallic compound size being no greater than 30 µm.
