Abstract:
Provided is a vehicular automatic transmission with which it is possible to achieve cost reduction by suppressing an increase in the number of components. Disclosed is a vehicular automatic transmission (3) comprising an engagement clutch (8c) that selects a low gear position (L) by coupling caused by the movement of a transmission mechanism (a shift operation conversion plate (70), a shift fork (71), and a fork rod (72)), and a park mechanism that fixes a rotary system, which is linked to drive wheels (14), to a transmission case by meshing/coupling between a parking pawl (18) and a park gear (17) caused by the movement of a park rod (67), wherein: a single first electric actuator (41) that causes both the transmission mechanism (70, 71, 72) and the park rod (67) to move is provided; and, in a park lock release state in which the meshing/coupling between the parking pawl (18) and the park gear (17) is released, the first electric actuator (41) moves the transmission mechanism (70, 71, 72) such that the engagement clutch (8c) is coupled and the low gear position (L) is selected.
