Abstract:
If power supplied from a battery mounted in a vehicle is used to heat each part in the vehicle, the power required for the vehicle to travel is consumed from the battery. A vehicular control device 20 is mounted in a vehicle provided with a transmission 16, a drive force generating unit 12 that causes a drive shaft connected via the transmission 16 to generate drive force, a battery 11 capable of supplying power to the drive force generating unit 12, and a cabin 10 in which occupants are accommodated. This vehicular control device 20 is provided with a control unit 23. While the battery 11 is connected to be chargeable by power supplied in a wired or wireless manner from an external power source 3 installed outside the vehicle, the control unit 23 performs at least one of control for heating the transmission oil and control for heating the internal space of the cabin 10 using heat generated by the drive force generating unit 12 warmed by power supplied from the external power source 3.
