Abstract:
A vehicular display device with a driver-monitoring function is provided that can be configured more compactly. The vehicular display device 1 comprises: a display 21 that displays vehicle information, and has a screen 21a that is one example of a display screen directly visible by a driver; an infrared light source that radiates infrared light on the driver; a hot mirror 13 that is inclined in relation to the screen 21a at a position overlapping a portion of the screen 21a, the hot mirror being one example of an optical panel that reflects at least a portion of the infrared light and transmits at least a portion of visible light; and an infrared camera 11a provided in a position not overlapping the screen 21a and to the side of the hot mirror 13 so as to receive the infrared light reflected from the hot mirror 13 from the driver side.
