Abstract:
Provided are: a vehicular dust cover assembly having a novel structure, the dust cover assembly being configured so that a dust cover and a bound stopper, which are formed as separate elements, can be easily mounted to an upper support and so that the assembled state can be consistently maintained; and a novel method for manufacturing a vehicular dust cover assembly.
A vehicular dust cover assembly (10) is configured in such a manner that: a dust cover (20) is overlapped on a bound stopper (18); the outer metallic fitting (60) of an upper support (58) has formed therein a fitting recess (80) into which the bound stopper (18) is mounted; the bound stopper (18) is held and retained within the fitting recess (80) while gripping the dust cover (20); and a push-in operation surface (56) pushed-in in the axial direction and exposed downward in the axial direction of the dust cover (20) is provided positioned within the fitting recess (80) of the outer metallic fitting (60) at a position below the engagement stepped section (28) of the bound stopper (18).
