Abstract:
Provided is a vehicular operation pedal device having a small number of components required for preventing the retreating of a tread section of an operation pedal mechanism during vehicle collision. A brake pedal device 1 is provided with: a pedal bracket 10 fixed to a dash panel P; an operation pedal mechanism 20 which has a tread section 24 rotatable relative to the pedal bracket 10 and treaded toward the vehicle front side; a rotary member 50 which has a bent section 52, a front end section 54, and an upper end section 56 and is rotatably supported in the bent section 52 with respect to the pedal operating mechanism 20 by a rotary shaft section 14; a connection pin 70 and a clevis 72 which hold a tip section 62 of an operating rod 60 in a rotatable manner with respect to the rotary member 50, the tip section 62 protruding from the dash panel P toward the vehicle rear side in the front end section 54 of the rotary member 50; and a caulking pin 80 which fixes the rotary member 50 and the pedal operating mechanism 20 in the bent section 52 of the rotary member 50.
