Abstract:
Provided is a vehicular photography system that can further improve characteristics such as reduced power consumption. The present invention comprises: an event detection unit that is mounted on a vehicle and outputs an event signal according to the amount of change in the quantity of light received from a predetermined image-capturing range; an image-capturing unit that is mounted on the vehicle and that generates and accumulates electric charges according to the quantity of light received from a predetermined light-receiving range at least a portion of which overlaps the predetermined imaging range and performs image-capturing which is an operation of generating image information according to the accumulated amount of the electric charges; and a control unit that outputs, to the image-capturing unit, a control signal according to the event signal.
