According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided is a ventilation device which controls the humidity of air that is for a space to be ventilated, and which performs ventilation of, as well as supply of the air to, the inside of the space to be ventilated. This ventilation device is provided with: a humidity-control-side air passage into which air not yet subjected to humidity control is introduced and though which the air having been subjected to humidity control is supplied to the space to be ventilated; a decompression-side air passage which is connected to a gas discharge part from which the air inside the ventilation device is discharged to the outside of the space to be ventilated, the inside of the decompression-side air passage being decompressed; and a gas separator which separates the humidity-control-side air passage from the decompression-side air passage and which selectively allows permeation of moisture and dry air therethrough. Regarding this gas separator, the ratio of the permeation amount of the moisture to the permeation amount of the dry air is 1/2-1/30, the moisture and the dry air permeating from the humidity-control-side air passage to the decompression-side air passage side.
