Abstract:
This ventilation fan is provided with: a body frame (2) for supporting a fan and provided with an opening through which a ventilation air flow formed by the fan flows; and a shutter (9) for opening and closing the opening and supported on the side of the fan which faces the exterior of a room, by support shafts so as to be capable of pivoting, the support shafts being formed on the left and right side surfaces (13) of the body frame (2). The shutter (9) has: a blocking plate for closing the opening; overhangs (12) protruding sideward from the blocking plate; protrusions (15) protruding toward the interior of the room from the base ends (12a) of the overhangs (12); and protrusions (14) protruding toward the interior of the room from the front ends (12b) of the overhangs (12). The body frame (2) has recesses (16) formed in the end surfaces thereof which face the exterior of the room and which are located outside the side surfaces (13). When the shutter (9) is in a closed state, the protrusions (14) fit in the recesses (16), the protrusions (15) fit in the opening, the side surfaces (13) are arranged between the protrusions (15) and the protrusions (14), and a labyrinth shape is formed.
