Abstract:
A verification device (mobile terminal) (2) is provided with: a processor; and a storage unit that stores a predetermined determination condition under which a picture image obtained by photographing a picture of a subject can be eliminated. The processor is configured to: detect the brightness distribution of a face image obtained by photographing, by means of a photographing unit (14), a person to be recognized; determine whether or not the detected brightness distribution satisfies the determination condition; and execute face recognition by using the face image satisfying the determination condition.
