Abstract:
The present invention speeds up a software program test. The present invention has a virtual computer 240 that simulates a microcomputer loaded with a software program to be tested, and a test execution control computer 100. The test execution control computer 100 divides test scenarios into phases such that common parts in a plurality of test scenarios are segmented as phases, and stores the plurality of test scenarios in the form of a tree such that non-common phases following the common phases are branched from the common phases. In accordance with this tree structure, the test execution control computer 100 causes the virtual computer 240 to execute a first test scenario such that a state of the virtual computer 240 is stored as a snapshot after the common phases are executed, and causes the virtual computer 240 to execute a second test scenario such that the non-common phases are executed after the state in which the common phases have been executed is reproduced by means of the snapshot.
