Abstract:
A vibrating body (101) is provided with: a support plate (1) including a first main surface (1a) and a second main surface (1b) facing in the direction opposite to the first main surface (1a); a piezoelectric body (2) disposed on the first main surface (1a) side of the support plate (1); and an acoustic matching layer (3) disposed on the second main surface (1b) side of the support plate (1) in a position opposite the piezoelectric body (2), either directly or with the interposition of another layer. The acoustic matching layer (3), disposed directly on the support plate (1) so as to be adjacent to the support plate (1) on the second main surface (1b) side of the support plate (1), or an adjacent layer, where the other layer is defined as the adjacent layer, is affixed to the support plate (1) using an adhesive, and at least one of the surfaces of the adjacent layer adjoining the surface of the adjacent layer affixed to the support plate (1) is provided with a step portion (4), wherein a fillet (6) is formed using the adhesive, extending from the step portion (4) to the support plate (1).
