Abstract:
Disclosed are a video analysis apparatus and method capable of determining rotational symmetry. The video analysis method according to the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving an input of a video image; receiving an input of a user command for at least one object included in the video image; acquiring a binary image for an object included in a selection area corresponding to the user command; and rotating the binary image at an angle corresponding to a preconfigured condition with reference to a reference point for the binary image to determine whether the binary image matches the rotated binary image, and determine whether the object included in the selection area has rotational symmetry. Accordingly, the present invention can determine, at high speed, whether at least one object included in video data has rotational symmetry.
