Abstract:
Disclosed are a video analysis apparatus and method. The video analysis method according to the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving an input of a source image; generating and storing a plurality of pyramid images rotated in different angles, on the basis of a base image of a first object included in a selection area corresponding to a user command, from among at least one object included in the source image; receiving an input of a video image from the outside; obtaining a target image of a second object included in a selection area corresponding to a user command, from among at least one object included in the video image; and calculating a similarity between the target image and at least one pyramid image corresponding to a pre-set angle from among the plurality of pyramid images to detect a pyramid image having a similarity equal to or greater than a pre-set threshold value as a same image as the second object.
