Abstract:
Provided is a video processing device including: a motion vector detection unit (1) which detects an image motion amount by using at least two input frame images which are temporally continuous; an interpolation phase calculation unit (21) which generates a logical interpolation phase coefficient from the logical interpolation phase determined by the phase interval obtained by dividing the input frame frequency by the output frame frequency; an interpolation phase mapping unit (22) which corrects the generated logical interpolation phase coefficient; projection process units (26, 27) and a merge unit (28) which use the detected motion amount and the corrected interpolation phase coefficient so as to generate from the input frame image, an intermediate frame image having a phase different from the logical interpolation phase.
