Abstract:
Provided are a volume control method, a volume control device, and an imaging device, which make it possible to return the ratio between the volume change amount and the level change amount to 1:1 when a function is switched by a switch, and to perform operation without discomfort. When a switch 41 is once switched from a selected function to select a function before the switching, a level stored in a memory 43 is read. A point specified by said level and the scale of a current volume is set as a current operating point 102, and a line connecting said operating point 102 and a minimum point or a line connecting said operating point and a maximum point is set as the locus of the operating point 102. When the operating point 102 enters a midpoint matching area 101, the locus is changed such that the operating point 102 passes a midpoint 103 of a line in the initial state connecting the minimum point and the maximum point, and after the operating point 102 passes the midpoint 103, the locus is returned to the locus in the initial state.
