Abstract:
The prior art exhibited the problem wherein it was difficult to suitably alert a driver of a vehicle to a detected pedestrian or the like. This warning device (1) has: a first image acquisition unit (21) that acquires a first image photographed by a far-infrared camera (11) for photographing in the travel direction of a vehicle; a second image acquisition unit (22) that acquires a second image photographed by a visible light camera (12) for photographing in the same direction as the far-infrared camera (11); a detection unit (23) that detects, from the first image acquired by the first image acquisition unit, an object to be warned of; a range specification unit (24) that, upon the detection unit (23) detecting the object to be warned of, specifies a first object range in the first image and also specifies a second object range corresponding to the first object range and indicating the detected object in the second image; and a display control unit (25) that displays the second image, in which the second object range is rendered, on a display unit (14) that can be seen by the driver of the vehicle.
