Abstract:

Provided are a washing device, whereby an unpleasant odor of washing water can be reduced, and a method for deodorizing washing water. By a means (2) for producing electrolyzed water, an electrolyte solution is electrolyzed to give a strongly acidic water and a strongly alkaline water. The thus generated strongly acidic water is stored in an acid container (3) while the thus generated strongly alkaline water is stored in an alkali container (4). In a mist container (5) connected to the alkali container (4), a portion of the strongly alkaline water in the alkali container (4) is received and used for forming a mist for deodorization. A discharge port (6a) is connected selectively to the acid container (3), the alkali container (4) or a tap water pipe (8) in such a manner as to allow the discharge of the strongly acidic water, the strongly alkaline water or tap water. Around the strongly acidic water or tap water discharged from the discharge port (6a), a mist exhaust port (7) is provided in such a manner that the mist for deodorization of the strongly alkaline water in the mist container (5) can be sprayed to surround the strongly acidic water or tap water.
