Abstract:
A washing machine that has a dust sensor (4), and a control method. The dust sensor (4) is mounted on the washing machine, and the dust sensor (4) is used for detecting the dust content in a drum of the washing machine. The control method for the washing machine, comprising the following steps: placing clothes into the washing machine; the dust sensor (4) obtaining the dust content in the drum; displaying a dust status and/or adjusting a washing program according to the obtained dust content. By using the foregoing washing machine and control method, the actual usage conditions and the dirtiness of clothes may be determined according to the amount of dust content of the clothes, and then washing parameters of a washing program are adjusted accordingly so as to improve the washing cleanliness of the clothes and the usage experience of a user, thus improving the intelligence degree of the washing machine.
