A washing machine having an ultrasonic cleaning function comprises an ultrasonic cleaning unit. The ultrasonic cleaning unit comprises a cleaning tank cover (11), a cleaning tank (3), and an ultrasound vibration source (31) disposed on the cleaning tank (3). The cleaning tank (3) is disposed in a space between an outer cylinder and a housing. The cleaning tank cover (11) is disposed on a top plate (12). The cleaning tank (3) is provided with a water outlet and a water inlet (32). The water outlet is connected with a drain valve inlet (81) via a drain connecting tube (7). A drain valve outlet (81) is connected with a drain hose (9). The water inlet (32) is connected with a water inlet valve through a pipe. The ultrasound vibration source (31) is connected with a power supply board of the washing machine. The washing machine having an ultrasonic cleaning function makes good use of the unused space commonly seen in washing machines, and has a simple and reliable structure, low cost, and cleans effectively, achieving a multi-functional machine. It is particularly suited for use in ultrasonic cleaning of small objects. The invention has good market potential.
