Provided in the present invention is a washing machine, in which a user can apply a detergent to a dirt attachment part of laundry well before an operation such as washing is performed. The drum washing machine (1) comprises: an outer drum (20), which is arranged in a box body (10); a drum (23), which is arranged inside the outer drum (20) and is used for accommodating laundry; a liquid storage box (220), which is used for storing a detergent solution; a detergent foam generating portion (310), wherein detergent foam is generated by means of foaming the detergent liquid flowing out from the liquid detergent box (220); and a detergent foam discharging portion, i.e. a nozzle (320), which discharges the detergent foam generated by the detergent foam generating portion (310), so as to apply the detergent foam, at the outside of the drum (23), to a part of the laundry. The nozzle (320) is arranged at an upper portion of a gasket (24) and discharges the detergent foam towards a lower portion of the gasket (24).
