Abstract:
[Problem] The basic container configuration being a 40f container that houses a power generating functional unit, the purpose of the present invention is to provide a shorter waste heat utilizing container which houses a waste heat utilizing device that exhibits a cogeneration function, which as an option can preferably be accurately attached and linked to the aforementioned power generating container, and which further allows accurately attaching a pipe system linking the two containers. [Solution] A shorter waste heat utilizing container which is arranged adjacent to a 40f container housing a radiator (23), an engine (21) and a generator (22) arranged along the length direction of the container, and which recovers waste heat of the engine and generates steam and hot water. This waste heat utilizing container houses a muffler (2) which mutes the discharge gas of the engine, a boiler (4) which generates steam through heat exchange with the discharge gas muted by the muffler, and a heat exchanger (3) which generates warm water by exchanging heat with cooling water heated in the engine. The muffler is arranged upright in the container height direction on the side opposite the boiler in the length direction of the waste heat utilizing container, and an exhaust gas inlet (2a) of the muffler is provided in the top wall of the container.
